The Final Walk Through

Starting from the top,
going room by room,
checking the closets, light fixtures, and floors.

Clean, waxed, and polished hardwoods, baseboards, and stairs.
The oven has been scoured,
the refrigerator emptied,
and the freezer defrosted.

The basement is spotless.
The last box put on the truck.
Everyone is ready to move on.

Time to say a final goodbye 2015.

Start the New Year 2016 fresh, rested, and unpracticed. Change up your daily routines. Brush your hair before you brush your teeth. Eat breakfast before getting ready for work. Seek a new way of getting to work. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Do something in a different manner. Every once in awhile it is a good thing to change up routines.

Start the coming new year, fresh!
