Deadly Nightshade Plant

I am out of commission for a while.  I have Deadly Nightshade poisoning.  My face looks like a catcher's mite.  I mowed the grass last week and must have gotten some on my hands from pulling weeds. Then it spread to my face.  It is terrible.  I do not know if it has made its way to the mid-west, but we have it here in western PA.  It is a relative to the tomato and potato family of plants.  It is also known as Belladonna.  I am very allergic and will have to get a shot later today.  The entire plant is very poisonous so do your homework before pulling it out and use gloves!!  See the link above for more details.

Best Summer Read: The Last Dickens

The Last Dickens is a thrilling book one cannot put down!  The attention to detail that makes one feel as if one lived during the Victorian era along with enough mystery and suspense to keep one guessing along the way.  Matthew Peal is a writer to read.  The Dante Club and The Poe Shadow are books add to ones summer reading list.
