In Honor Of Those Who Serve

THANK YOU!

Pray

Pray for those who have been affected by the storms.

"Almighty God, and Father.  We worship you.  We lift our voices in prayer.  Hear us.  We pray for those who have no insurance, family , or friends to help them rebuild, that God would supply their needs.  May the money we donate get to those who are in need the most.  We pray especially for those who have lost loved ones and are grief stricken, may people come to comfort and help them heal.  We pray for those who minister may the grace, comfort, love, and strength of God flow through them.  We thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and petitions."  Amen!

Spring Forget-Me-Nots

These little blue gems are not easily forgotten.

Forget-me-nots are precious and delicate little flowers of blue.  They bloom in April, May, and June.  Next time you are out and about take a gander along the path near the edge and you may spy a patch or two of these wonderful blooms.

Virtual Candlelight Rally 2011

Light a candle

In Honor of Frederick

You inspired the love of learning in my life. You were my first teacher. Thank you for loving me and giving me so much to be thankful for, Dad. I light this candle and pray that the ALZ disease does not progress any further.

Love and prayers, Peg

Reusable Grocery Bags

Today I purchased reusable grocery bags to help make a difference in reducing the use of plastics.
Have you thought of using reusable grocery bags?
The bags I purchased today were only ninety-nine cents.
Below is the first three minutes of the documentary Bag It The Movie.
I hope you choose to make a difference by using recyclable grocery bags.

Bunny Alert

The bunnies are doing well.  Mother bunny moved them to the yard next door.  I caught a glimpse of her a couple days ago.  Today, I saw one of the bunnies while I was mowing the grass and he ran over into their yard.  I let my neighbor know that the bunnies are out and about and most likely nesting in their yard now.  They will not be nesting much longer because they are already foraging for themselves.

Birdie in the Bath

Snapped this Robin Red Breast in the bird bath.  He was having a good time having the bath all to himself.  He was splashing around for a few minutes.  I was a good sixty feet away and I am pleased how clear it turned out.
